How to Brew Great Coffee
- Begin with good water - as water makes up 98% of coffee, it is important to always start with fresh quality.
- Choose the right grind - it is important to choose the right grind and amount of coffee for each piece of brewing equipment. Between 2 and 3 ounces of coffee is recommended for every 1/2 gallon of water to ensure the appropriate water to coffee ratio.
- Choose the right equipment - Neptune beverage staff will review your needs and recommend the appropriate coffee brewing equipment. In order to deliver a quality cup of coffee, the brewing equipment must be working at its most optimal level.
- Cleaning of equipment - daily cleaning of the filter basket, spray head, brew pots and thermal carafes is important to offer your customers a quality product each time.
